Beckington CC, in conjunction with Rode CC and Norton St Philip CC, are passionate about enabling youngsters to get involved in cricket and to improve as players. Beckington CC has a thriving junior section that is completely inclusive and caters for all ages and abilities. We seek to give boys and girls the best possible environment in which to learn about the game, improve their skills and to experience competitive opportunities while still enjoying themselves and having a positive social experience.

TRAINING Thursday evenings, The Recreation Ground, Beckington 5:30 - 8:30pm

Junior training for all age groups takes place on a single night. This approach allows us to make better use of our coaches and facilities, and to also ensure more coaching time with our level 4 Head Coach. Training is for all ages from school year 2 to 10. Training times are as follows: Under 9's: 5.30 - 6.15. Under 11's: 6.15 - 7.00. Under 13's: 7.00 - 7.45. Under 15's: 7.45 - 8.30. In addition, we also run the highly successful All Stars programme which is designed to give children aged 5-8 an introduction to Cricket. JUNIOR MATCHES Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 6pm start

Our Under 9's team will play in mini kwik-cricket tournaments on Sunday mornings. The Under 11's matches will be played on Monday evenings and are 8-a-side pairs cricket which ensures every player gets involved in every game. The Under 13's and Under 15's play 11-a-side T20 matches on Tuesdays and Wednesdays respectively.

SENIOR MATCHES Saturday afternoons

Juniors in year 8 and above are also eligible to play in our league second team. The second team is a fully competitive side playing in the Wiltshire League. This is an ideal opportunity for our young cricketers to take the step from junior cricket to senior matches in a safe environment. Members of the senior team squad will regularly be at junior training to help older juniors have a smooth transition into senior cricket.

Children of all ages and abilities are invited to attend training, drinks and snacks will be provided.
