Beckington CC, in conjunction with Rode CC and Norton St Philip CC, are passionate about enabling youngsters to get involved in cricket and to improve as players. We seek to give boys and girls the best possible environment in which to learn about the game, improve their skills and to experience competitive opportunities while still enjoying themselves and having a positive social experience.

TRAINING Thursday evenings, The Recreation Ground, Beckington 6:00 - 7:30pm

This year, we are combining training for all ages on a single night. Juniors will still be split into age groups on the field, but this approach allows us to make better use of our coaches, to set drills up and give each group a chance to do it in turn, and to move juniors up an age group if their abilities warrant it. Training is for all ages from school year 2 to 10.

JUNIOR MATCHES Monday and Tuesday evenings, 6pm start

This year, our two Under 11's teams will be based at Beckington and play on Monday evenings, two Under 13's teams, one based at Beckington and one at Norton, will play on Tuesday evenings, and our two Under 15's teams will be based at Norton and play on Monday evenings. Our Under 9's team will play in mini kwik-cricket tournaments on Sunday mornings.

GIRLS CRICKET Recreation Ground, Beckington, Thursday evenings, 6:00 - 7:30pm, and Friday evenings, 4:30 - 6:30pm

Girls of all ages (year 2 and upwards) are welcome to join our junior training programme. All junior training and matches are open to girls, and girls may choose to play two years below their natural age group. From year 8, girls are also welcome to train with our ladies team on Friday evenings, and to play in our ladies matches.

SENIOR MATCHES Saturday afternoons

Juniors in year 8 and above who wish to play competitive cricket and have sufficient skills may be selected to play in our league second team. The second team is a fully competitive side playing in the Wiltshire League. The second team vice captain will regularly be at junior training to help give older juniors have a smooth transition into senior cricket.

Children of all ages and abilities are invited to attend training, drinks and healthy snacks will be provided.
